I will discuss my job in more detail at a later time but for now just know that I travel for a living. This means that I live in hotels and airports, not exactly the best places to find good healthy food. If I get lucky and my hotel room has a mini fridge and a microwave, I’ll hit a local grocery and pick up some healthier options for meals. However this week I had no such luck and as a result I lost my ever loving mind.
This week's diet consisted of the following: Papa Johns, cappuccinos (which I rarely drink), donuts, candy bars, soda (or pop depending on where you live in the country), McDonalds, Taco Bell, Baskin Robbins, and Jimmy Johns. Do to my dietary indiscretions I feel horrible! Which I feel is only fair, gotta pay to play right?
I'm not going to sit here and piss and moan and make excuses for this. It is not McD's fault that I can consume 4 double cheeseburgers in one sitting (no I did not consume 4 double cheeseburgers, but I have in the past). Nor is it Papa John’s fault that I can inhale an entire small pizza with about 4 pounds of melted heaven (also known as cheese) on top!
The only "wish" I have is that I wish I didn't crave this crap! I can go for months and eat relatively well and then lose my mind altogether, like this week. Ok, I have two wishes. I also wish I liked common veggies, like onions, peppers and mushrooms. That's a total lie...I'm perfectly happy disliking the fungus crap! Those damn things are just flat out disgusting! If you like them, so be it, I'll try not to judge you! I'll tri!
While I think KB plans to overhaul my dietary habits I have no doubt this will not be my last post on this subject, in fact I could blog about my love/hate relationship with food for YEARS!
